AVON LAKE, Ohio

Theft: Forest Boulevard

A resident reported depositing $8,000 into bitcoin digital wallets in an internet scam March 21.

Theft: Rice Park Road

On March 18, a complainant reported that a contractor did not complete work and had kept the building supplies.

Disturbance: Somerset Lane

Police were dispatched for a disturbance at Somerset Apartments March 19.

Theft: Mull Avenue

A woman reported that her email had been hacked and her direct deposit information changed, causing her paychecks to be deposited March 1 into an account that wasn’t hers.

Warrant arrest: Walker Road

On March 23, a driver was arrested on a warrant through the Lorain Police Department during a traffic stop. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
