JPMorgan Brings JPM Coin to Ethereum for Institutional Use
Edited by Steinar Vigdel Kolnes, Editor, Oslo
JPMorgan has extended its dollar-denominated JPM Coin to Ethereum, with access limited to approved institutional counterparties, The Defiant reports.

JPMorgan has expanded JPM Coin to Ethereum for institutional clients, according to The Defiant. The move adds another public blockchain to the bank-issued dollar token’s reach.
Participation remains limited to approved counterparties. Deployment on Ethereum does not make JPM Coin available for unrestricted public use.
The expansion places permissioned bank money on public blockchain infrastructure while retaining restrictions on who can access the token.
