Binance has named Justin Yek as its next chief financial officer as Kaiser Ng prepares to leave the crypto exchange.
Binance is changing its finance leadership, with Justin Yek set to take over as chief financial officer from outgoing CFO Kaiser Ng, according to The Defiant.
Co-CEO Yi He said the succession process has been in preparation for about six months, indicating that the leadership change had been planned well in advance.
That timeline would place the start of the transition planning before the exchange's reported $6.34 billion theft, according to the report.
