BTCPay Server Tells Operators to Shut Down Systems Amid Wallet Sweep Reports

BTCPay Server advised operators to take their instances offline while it investigates reports involving hot-wallet fund sweeps.
BTCPay Server has issued an urgent notice asking operators to shut down their deployments as the project investigates reports of funds being swept from hot wallets.
The project instructed users to run the command ./btcpay-down.sh to take affected infrastructure offline while the investigation continues.
The alert did not specify which software versions may be affected and did not announce a security patch. Operators are awaiting further guidance from the BTCPay Server team.
