XRP Ledger Lending Fix Nears Activation as System Awaits Approval

An XRP Ledger bug-fix patch is on track to activate Friday, while the lending system it partly addresses remains 10 votes short of approval.
XRP Ledger validators are on course to activate a bug-fix patch on Friday, according to CoinDesk. Part of the update addresses code for a lending system that is not yet available for use.
The lending system remains 10 votes short of the approval needed to proceed. Its status is separate from that of the patch moving toward activation.
The current voting position puts the repair ahead of the feature's launch, with lending still awaiting validator support.
