Solo Bitcoin Miners Log 36 Block Wins in 2026

A small Bitcoin mining device found a block in early November, adding to a series of rare solo-mining successes this year.

A compact Bitcoin miner reportedly found a block during the first week of November, overcoming long odds in a network largely dominated by large-scale mining operations.
According to Bitcoin.com News, 2026 has produced 36 documented block discoveries attributed to solo-style miners, ranging from desktop-sized hardware to larger operators mining independently.
Successful miners receive a block subsidy and transaction fees, making each discovery potentially valuable. For miners with limited computing power, however, finding a block independently remains statistically rare.
The latest result highlights the probabilistic nature of Bitcoin mining: greater computing power improves the chances of success, but smaller miners can occasionally find blocks on their own.
