A dispute over the future of a $125 million Zcash grant fund has emerged between Zcash Open Development Lab founder Josh Swihart and Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe, according to Bitcoin.com News.
Bowe’s proposal would turn off the funding stream for Zcash Community Grants (ZCG). The move would target that allocation rather than make a broader change to funding.
Swihart objected to the limited scope of the proposal, arguing that it would leave the issue only partly addressed and create uncertainty in the market. The disagreement centers on how far changes to Zcash’s grant funding should go.
