Zcash developers have confirmed November timing for NU7, which will shorten block intervals from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, with implementation steps still pending.

Zcash developers have confirmed that the network’s NU7 upgrade is scheduled for November, according to CoinDesk.
The upgrade will reduce the interval between blocks from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, allowing the network to produce blocks three times as frequently.
Implementation work remains before activation. The selected block height must still be incorporated into the upgrade specification and included in released node software.
