Zcash Developer Plans Hash-Based Signatures and Address Rotation Tool
Zakura expects hash-based signatures to reach Zcash in January and says it is rolling out a tool this week to rotate transparent addresses.

Zcash full node developer Zakura has outlined two planned updates: support for hash-based signatures and a privacy tool that rotates transparent addresses.
Zakura expects the signature upgrade to arrive in January. The proposal comes amid concerns about the risks that quantum computing could pose to cryptographic keys.
The address-rotation tool is being rolled out this week, according to the developer. It focuses on privacy for users of Zcash’s transparent addresses, separate from the planned signature change.
