XRP Ledger Patches Decade-Old Flaw With Trillions in Minting Risk
A decade-old XRP Ledger bug that could have enabled trillions to be minted was fixed on Sept. 25, with no evidence of exploitation on a public network.

XRP Ledger has disclosed a decade-old vulnerability that could have allowed trillions to be minted, according to The Defiant.
The flaw was addressed in xrpld version 3.4.1, released on Sept. 25.
Developers reported finding no indication that the vulnerability had been exploited on any public network.
