XRP Ledger Batch Upgrade Delayed to Oct. 9 After Support Dips
A brief dip in validator backing below 80% reset the XRP Ledger Batch upgrade’s two-week activation countdown, pushing the date to Oct. 9.
The XRP Ledger’s Batch upgrade is now scheduled for Oct. 9 after a temporary decline in validator support delayed activation, according to CoinDesk.
The proposed feature would allow users to group as many as eight transactions into a single batch, including transfers involving assets and payments.
Activation requires validator backing to remain at or above 80% for two weeks. Support briefly fell below that level, forcing the countdown to start again.
