Westpac to Cap Crypto Payments at A$10,000 a Month From December

Westpac will introduce a monthly A$10,000 cap on crypto payments in December, with no exemptions or higher limits, The Defiant reports.
Westpac will limit crypto payments to A$10,000 per month starting in December, according to The Defiant.
The cap will be fixed: customers will not be able to obtain an exemption or arrange a higher monthly allowance.
The change will not affect withdrawals from crypto exchanges into Westpac accounts. Those incoming transfers will continue under existing arrangements.
