US Crypto Adoption Rises, but Past-Year Use Remains Flat

An Ipsos survey for the DeFi Education Fund found that 22% of Americans have owned or used crypto, while past-year use stayed at 13%.

The share of Americans who have ever owned or used cryptocurrency reached 22%, according to an Ipsos survey commissioned by the DeFi Education Fund and reported by Decrypt.
That figure rose from 18%, a gain of four percentage points. The increase indicates that more Americans have had some experience with digital assets.
However, the share reporting crypto use within the past year remained unchanged at 13%. The findings distinguish growing lifetime participation from a steady level of recent use.
