Tether has blacklisted wallets holding USDT that were linked to outflows from CoinDCX, according to The Defiant.
AMLBot estimated that the freeze covered approximately $2.2 million. That figure represents the funds frozen, rather than a stated total for CoinDCX’s losses.
The action followed CoinDCX’s acknowledgment of losses stemming from a failure in its process for securing deposits sent to retired addresses.
