Tether CEO Says Bitcoin Holdings Reach About 150,000 BTC

Paolo Ardoino's estimate of Tether's Bitcoin holdings is roughly 50,000 BTC above the figure implied by its latest reserve report.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said the stablecoin issuer holds approximately 150,000 Bitcoin, according to comments made at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano.
The estimate differs from Tether's third-quarter reserve report, which indicates Bitcoin holdings of about 100,060 BTC.
That leaves a gap of roughly 50,000 BTC between Ardoino's stated estimate and the amount implied by the company's reported reserves.
