Strategy has proposed changing the dividend terms of four preferred stocks so that accrual would cover all 365 days of the year, according to Bitcoin.com News.
The proposed schedule would include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Payments falling on nonbusiness days would move to the following business day.
The change requires shareholder approval, and any dividends would still need to be declared by the company. Daily accrual would not mean shareholders receive a payment every calendar day.
