Standard Chartered Moves $2T Stablecoin Forecast to 2030
Standard Chartered has shifted its $2 trillion stablecoin forecast to 2030, highlighting rising transaction volumes and competition for reserve income.

Standard Chartered has pushed back its forecast for the stablecoin market to reach $2 trillion, setting 2030 as its revised target, according to Cointelegraph.
The bank's analysis divided stablecoin activity into four distinct markets. It identified USDC as the leader in payments and transactions involving artificial intelligence.
The assessment comes as stablecoin transaction volumes increase and competition over yields generated by reserves becomes more intense.
