South Korean stocks fell sharply as the AI selloff intensified, while data centre company Elice sank about 30% in its market debut.

South Korea’s KOSPI index declined nearly 4% amid continued market jitters as the selloff in artificial intelligence-related stocks deepened.
Data centre company Elice dropped around 30% on its first day of trading, adding a weak listing performance to the broader market downturn.
CoinDesk described Elice’s debut as among the weakest in South Korea’s history. Its sharp decline coincided with substantial losses across the country’s benchmark index.
