Sophon Sets Nov. 25 Withdrawal Cutoff Before Mainnet Closure

Sophon has set a Nov. 25 withdrawal deadline as it prepares to close its mainnet and shift its focus to applications on Base.
Sophon users have until Nov. 25 to withdraw funds ahead of the network’s planned mainnet shutdown, according to Cointelegraph.
The project’s developers announced the change in direction in June, saying the benefits of running an independent blockchain no longer outweighed the expense.
Sophon plans to concentrate instead on consumer finance and artificial intelligence applications built on Base, moving away from maintaining its own standalone network.
