Solflare says it will cover missed staking rewards after a validator went offline, affecting about 1.56 million SOL valued at $160 million, CoinDesk reported.

Solana wallet Solflare has pledged to compensate users for staking rewards missed after a validator went offline, according to CoinDesk.
Around 1.56 million SOL, valued at roughly $160 million, was staked with the validator when it stopped generating rewards. The pledge concerns those missed earnings, rather than the value of the staked tokens.
Solflare has not identified the firm that controlled the validator’s keys. The available report does not specify when compensation will be paid.
