Solana Postpones Shanghai Event After Registration Surge

Solana’s Accelerate event in Shanghai was postponed after registrations reportedly rose fourfold, exceeding the planned venue’s capacity.

The Solana Foundation attributed the cancellation of the scheduled gathering to the increase in sign-ups, saying the location could not accommodate the turnout.

Separately, social media accounts reported law enforcement personnel at the venue and said attendees had waited outside for hours. Those reports did not establish whether the police presence was connected to the postponement.
