Solana Falls Below $100 as New Wallets Move $49M in SOL

Three newly created Solana wallets moved 482,228 SOL over three days, with roughly a third of the tokens reaching exchanges, according to Bitcoin.com News.
Solana's SOL token slipped below $100 as Bitcoin.com News reported that three newly created wallets had moved 482,228 SOL, valued at about $49.17 million, over three days.
The wallets first became active on the evening of Oct. 23. All three recorded their initial transactions within a two-minute window, though their ownership has not been publicly identified.
Roughly a third of the transferred SOL had reached exchanges, according to the report. Exchange deposits can precede sales, but the movements alone do not confirm that the tokens were sold or caused the price decline.
