Socket Flags 16 Fake Rabby and OKX Wallet Add-ons on Firefox

Mozilla removed 16 Firefox add-ons impersonating Rabby and OKX wallets, but exposed recovery phrases remain a security risk, according to Socket.
Security firm Socket identified 16 fake Firefox extensions posing as Rabby and OKX wallets, The Defiant reported.
According to Socket, Mozilla had taken the fraudulent add-ons out of publication by Oct. 5.
The removal does not resolve the risk for wallets whose recovery phrases were exposed. Those wallets remain vulnerable even after the fake extensions are no longer available.
