SlowMist says six network samples could allow Qubic wallet keys to be recovered, while patch 4.26.4 changes seed handling but not header generation.
Security firm SlowMist says Qubic wallet keys could be recovered using six network samples, according to a report by The Defiant.
The report says patch 4.26.4 decouples seeds for newly created accounts from the random stream identified as exposed.
However, the update does not alter how headers are generated. The reported change therefore concerns new account seeds rather than the header-generation process.
