SK Hynix reported quarterly revenue above 100 trillion won for the first time and expects memory demand to exceed supply through 2030.

SK Hynix posted a record quarter, with revenue exceeding 100 trillion won for the first time, according to Decrypt. The results came amid strong demand for memory used in artificial intelligence systems.
The chipmaker expects demand for memory chips to remain above available supply through 2030, pointing to a prolonged imbalance rather than a short-term shortage.
SK Hynix also said its DRAM and high-bandwidth memory, or HBM, are sold out through 2029, underscoring the extent of commitments for its future output.
