Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev has warned that uncertainty over US tokenization rules is discouraging the entry of major assets into the market, according to Cointelegraph.
Tenev said tokenized equities would need more than a temporary exemption from the Securities and Exchange Commission to flourish in the United States.
His remarks draw a distinction between short-term regulatory relief and the longer-term certainty he considers necessary for the sector’s development.
