Qivalis Gains Dutch EMI Approval Ahead of Euro Stablecoin Launch
Qivalis has secured EMI authorization from the Dutch central bank, with a euro stablecoin launch planned pending further MiCA requirements.
Qivalis has received electronic money institution (EMI) authorization from the Dutch central bank, according to Cointelegraph.
The company said the approval allows it to proceed toward launching a stablecoin denominated in euros.
Qivalis plans to begin issuance in the coming months. The launch remains subject to additional requirements under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.
