Polymarket’s $32M Nobel Market Missed Reported Peace Prize Winner

Polymarket’s 2026 Nobel Peace Prize market drew more than $32 million in trading, but its named candidates did not include the eventual winner, according to Bitcoin.com News.

The report said Yulia Navalnaya became the market favorite overnight before the Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the prize to Navi Pillay.

Pillay was also absent from Kalshi’s list of named contenders, the outlet reported. The result highlighted a gap between the candidates offered by both prediction markets and the committee’s reported choice.
