CEO Marc Boiron said the deal would give Polygon greater control over its relationships with customers, reducing its reliance on intermediaries.
Boiron also said the acquisition would allow Polygon to retain revenue that previously flowed to payment middlemen, linking the deal to a broader push into payments.
