U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reported owning Bitcoin held in a Coinbase wallet in his annual financial disclosure, Decrypt reported.
The filing contains two entries that together place the Bitcoin holdings between $16,000 and $65,000. Those ranges do not establish an exact value.
Hegseth also disclosed more than $1 million in cash, a substantially larger amount than the reported range for his Bitcoin holdings.
