PancakeSwap Opens ‘The Flip’ Vote on CAKE Supply Changes

PancakeSwap has opened voting on ‘The Flip,’ a plan retaining certain CAKE buybacks and phasing in an approximately 69% reduction in effective daily emissions.

PancakeSwap has opened a vote on its final ‘The Flip’ proposal, which includes a condition tied to CAKE supply, according to The Defiant.
The plan would continue using protocol fees from non-stablecoin activity to buy back CAKE. Those buybacks remain part of the final version put to a vote.
The proposal also calls for a phased reduction of roughly 69% in effective daily CAKE emissions, rather than implementing the full cut at once.
