Bitcoin stayed near $84,000 in a narrow trading range as Ondo led an overnight altcoin advance, according to The Defiant.
Bitcoin traded within a $743 band across the Asian and European sessions and the opening 90 minutes of New York trading, holding near $84,000, The Defiant reported.
The steady price action followed a rise in U.S. Treasury yields to their highest point of the month. That move came after a U.S. business survey delivered its strongest reading in more than five years.
Ondo led the overnight gains among altcoins, according to the report. The advance contrasted with the preceding pressure on bonds, while Bitcoin remained range-bound.
