A draft proposal would reduce the token’s maximum annual issuance rate to 1.6% from 2.5%, a decrease of 0.9 percentage points.
The proposed change would limit dilution while also lowering staking rewards. The issuance reduction remains a draft measure, rather than an implemented change.
