Elon Musk has warned about AI neocloud providers’ prospects as Gartner projects widespread loss of independence among specialist cloud companies by 2030.
Elon Musk has raised concerns about the survival of more than 200 AI neocloud providers, according to Cointelegraph.
The warning focuses on specialist cloud businesses serving the artificial intelligence market, rather than the cloud computing industry as a whole.
Separately, Gartner forecasts that over 80% of specialist cloud providers will no longer operate independently by 2030. That projection concerns their independence, not necessarily the closure of every affected business.
