MSCI has approved eligibility rules that could exclude Strategy and Metaplanet from its equity indexes, CoinDesk reported.
MSCI has approved rules that could leave Strategy and Metaplanet ineligible for its equity indexes, according to CoinDesk.
The changes, proposed in August, target companies whose primary purpose is holding investments. Such businesses would no longer qualify for inclusion under the new criteria.
The reported approval raises the possibility of both companies losing index membership, but does not establish that either has been removed.
