A May simulation under MSCI’s new rules identified Strategy and Metaplanet as potential index deletions, with the final list due Nov. 11.
MSCI has adopted index rules that could lead to the removal of Strategy and Metaplanet, according to The Defiant.
A simulation conducted in May identified both companies as candidates for deletion. The same exercise placed SharpLink on a watchlist.
The simulation does not establish the final outcome. MSCI is scheduled to release its definitive list on Nov. 11.
