AI-assisted searches by researcher Pizza Bitcoiner helped expand Jameson Lopp’s archive of physical attacks against crypto holders to 702 documented incidents.

Bitcoin security expert Jameson Lopp’s archive of physical attacks targeting cryptocurrency holders has grown to 702 documented incidents, according to Bitcoin.com News. The additions more than doubled the collection’s size.
Researcher Pizza Bitcoiner used artificial intelligence-assisted searches to identify hundreds of previously overlooked cases. Those findings expanded the archive’s coverage of attacks involving crypto holders.
The records include kidnappings, home invasions and violent robberies, as well as 31 reported deaths. The larger tally reflects newly uncovered cases, rather than necessarily indicating a recent increase in attacks.
