Ledger’s planned Atom device would combine everyday smartphone apps with a protected mode for managing digital assets, according to CoinDesk.
Ledger has outlined plans for Atom, a device intended to bring smartphone functions to its crypto hardware wallet offering, CoinDesk reported.
Atom is expected to support apps including WhatsApp and Instagram, extending its use beyond managing digital assets.
The planned design would allow users to switch between regular smartphone functions and a protected mode dedicated to digital asset management.
