Ledger introduced Atom, an $849 security device running Android, on Oct. 15, 2026. The announcement comes amid a company investigation into modified hardware wallets.
Atom integrates with Solana Mobile’s Seeker ecosystem and includes controls for transactions involving artificial intelligence agents. It also features physical tamper detection intended to help identify device manipulation.
The modified wallets under investigation have been linked to a reported $93 million in cryptocurrency losses, though that figure remains unverified. Ledger is positioning Atom as offering stronger protection against hardware tampering.
