Edited by Steinar Vigdel Kolnes, Editor, Oslo
KuCoin is closing accounts in Russia and Belarus, following similar announcements from MEXC and Bitget earlier this month.

Crypto exchange KuCoin is shutting down accounts in Russia and Belarus, according to CoinDesk.
The move follows announcements by MEXC and Bitget earlier this month that they would take similar steps in the two countries.
The departures mark a wider withdrawal by crypto exchanges from markets subject to Western sanctions. The report did not specify KuCoin’s timetable for closing accounts.
