Payward plans to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures to eligible U.S. customers through a regulated structure, subject to regulatory approval.

Payward, the parent company of Kraken, is seeking to launch perpetual futures markets on Hyperliquid for eligible U.S. customers. It aims to be the first operator regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to offer such markets on the platform.
The proposed arrangement would link Hyperliquid’s onchain trading technology with Bitnomial’s regulated exchange and clearing services. NinjaTrader would provide brokerage services.
The initiative still needs regulatory approval. The proposal also comes ahead of Hyperliquid’s planned HIP-3 upgrade, though the source excerpt does not detail its role in the launch.
