KelpDAO Sues LayerZero Over $292 Million Exploit
KelpDAO alleges LayerZero and co-founder Brian Pellegrino failed to disclose protocol weaknesses that led to a $292 million hack, according to CoinDesk.
KelpDAO has filed a lawsuit against LayerZero and its co-founder Brian Pellegrino over a $292 million exploit, CoinDesk reported.
The cross-chain lending protocol alleges the defendants did not disclose weaknesses in LayerZero’s protocol. KelpDAO claims those weaknesses led to the hack.
CoinDesk described the incident as the largest exploit of 2026 so far. The claims of nondisclosure and responsibility for the loss are allegations raised by KelpDAO.
