Justin Sun Cites AI and Quantum Risks to Bitcoin; Hayes Pushes Back
Edited by Steinar Vigdel Kolnes, Editor, Oslo
Justin Sun says AI and quantum computing have deepened his bearish view of bitcoin, while Arthur Hayes rejects the quantum threat as a reason to sell.

Tron founder Justin Sun has become more bearish on bitcoin, pointing to advances in artificial intelligence and quantum computing as reasons for his changing outlook.
In an interview last week, Sun cited progress in AI algorithms alongside developments in quantum technology. He argued that these advances had made him more negative about bitcoin than before.
Bitmex co-founder Arthur Hayes took a different position on the quantum concern, saying it should not prompt holders to sell bitcoin. His response challenged that part of Sun’s argument, rather than the broader concerns about AI.
