Interactive Brokers Adds Ether Staking Through Zerohash
Eligible Interactive Brokers customers can now stake ether through its Client Portal, with Zerohash powering the service.
Interactive Brokers announced Tuesday that it has launched cryptocurrency staking in partnership with Zerohash, starting with ether (ETH).
The service lets eligible customers stake ETH directly in the brokerage’s Client Portal. The announcement marks an expansion of its crypto offering beyond custody and trading.
Interactive Brokers, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker IBKR, reported total client equity of $964.7 billion. The initial rollout focuses on ether; the supplied announcement did not detail additional supported assets.
