The account has $7.19 million in equity and just one open perpetual futures position, according to the report. The stated position value is roughly 4.5 times the account’s equity.
The report places the trade exactly one year after the market crash known as 10/10, which wiped out more than $19.1 billion in leveraged positions. The size of the short alone does not establish where bitcoin’s price will move next.
