Hyperliquid Tests Restricted Markets for Payward’s US Perpetuals Plan

Hyperliquid is testing optional onchain access controls tied to Payward’s proposed US perpetuals offering, which still requires regulatory approval.

Hyperliquid is testing permissioned markets linked to Payward’s plans for US perpetual futures contracts, according to The Defiant.
The approach would use optional onchain allowlists to restrict access to designated markets. Existing markets would remain unaffected by the proposed controls.
The planned US contracts still require regulatory approval. The testing does not establish that the offering has been cleared to launch.
