Hut 8-Linked Wallet Moves Nearly 2,000 BTC Toward Exchanges

A wallet linked to Hut 8 moved bitcoin valued at roughly $161 million toward exchanges and trading desks over seven days, according to Bitcoin.com News.
Bitcoin.com News reported that a wallet associated with Hut 8 transferred nearly 2,000 BTC toward exchanges and trading desks within a week. The report valued the bitcoin at approximately $161 million.
The transfers originated from addresses that blockchain analytics platform Arkham identified as Hut 8’s Coinbase Prime custody wallets. The funds then passed through a single intermediary address.
The wallet had been emptied by early Friday, according to the report. The movements alone do not establish whether the bitcoin was sold.
