SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce is set to depart on Oct. 2 after roughly eight years at the agency, according to Cointelegraph.
U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Commissioner Hester Peirce will leave her position on Oct. 2, Cointelegraph reported.
Peirce’s tenure at the regulator spans approximately eight years. Her responsibilities included directing the SEC’s Crypto Task Force.
Known in the cryptocurrency community as “Crypto Mom,” Peirce will depart after a tenure that included work on digital assets.
