A HashKey Chain administrator used a temporary contract change to move 142,818 USDT, according to The Defiant.
The previous deposit code was reinstated roughly six minutes after the change, returning that code to its earlier version.
A three-of-five multisignature wallet still holds authority to make immediate upgrades. That arrangement requires approval from three of its five signers to exercise those powers.
