Google's Willow quantum processor reduced magic-state errors by a factor of 40, with a result published in Science reporting roughly 99.99% state fidelity.

Google has reported a 40-fold reduction in magic-state errors on its Willow quantum processor, according to The Defiant.
The result, published in Science, achieved approximately 99.99% state fidelity, a measure of how closely a prepared quantum state matches its intended form.
The findings support a technique already factored into estimates of quantum computing resource requirements, rather than introducing an approach those estimates had not considered.
